Dr. Francine Schlaks has been an Internal Federal Mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She is a seasoned mediator with two decades of experience specializing in Employment mediating with having mediated over 3,500 cases with a 90% settlement rate, mediating employment disputes under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, and related laws.

Dr. Francine Schlaks' also specializes in Real Estate, Insurance, Personal Injury, Securities and Civil Disputes. She has a real estate degree and Series 7 stock brokers degree to help mediate and arbitrate cases in those fields. She is also a mediator and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, FINRA, NASDAQ and the SEC. On top of her experience, Dr. Francine Schlaks has had contracts mediating with the EEOC, HUD, U.S. Post Office, Department of Forestry, TSA, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Department of Insurance as well as many other agencies. She is also a National Mediator and Negotiations trainer for the United States Air Force.

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary, non-binding process using a neutral third party to guide the party's toward a mutually beneficial resolution of their dispute. Unlike an arbitrator, who can impose a decision, the mediator helps the party's to decide for themselves whether to settle and on what terms. The mediator acts as a catalyst possible bases for agreement and the consequences of not settling and encouraging each party to accommodate the interests of the other party's.
